Mobile payment involves a payment service, which usually is operated by financial regulations by companies such as Paypal or banks. This technique will be used through the medium of a mobile device such as a tablet or a mobile phone.
Organisations such as Paypal allows users to pay quickly and securely, the only details required is an email or a phone number. Also, users can choose which currency they want to pay in, whether it's for example paid in Euros, Dollars and etc.
Location-Based (Near Field) Mobile Marketing
This technique is used in methods such as for Social media purposes, where platforms such as Snapchat use QR codes, that enables users to add each other by scanning the code on the other person's snapchat camera.
Companies such as Starbucks use location-based ads by tracking users’ device ID, as well as location. They then post targeted ads on that users phone based on that information.

On a daily basis, people use mobile applications in order to shop, gather information, to use a service, entertainment, as well as arranging their next trip and etc.
However, what features do these applications have to benefit people's daily lives? Our agency have looked at 2 different Mobile Applications, this includes Snapchat (introduced in September 2011) and Tinder (introduced in September 2012).
Snapchat's beneficial factors:
- Photos and Videos can be sent to contacts, which makes it easier to simpler to communicate, it is less time consuming than having to type up a message.
- Filters can be applied to the captured content, for example if a picture has been taken, Snapchat users can apply a filter and send this to any of their contacts.
- There's an option to share photos and videos to your whole friends list as your "story", or these can be sent to contacts of your choice.
- A captions can be applied as a short message, this allows the you to explain what your visual is about.
- You can have a personal chat with friends, which allows the application to be an instant messaging service.
Tinder's beneficial factors:
- Tinder users can meet new people from their area, with the specific distance choice, this can also allows users to build new friendships.
- The initial purpose of this application is for users to meet potential partners, which could evolve to a relationship.
- The features on this application are mostly free, which is beneficial as users can use it as often as they want without any cost. On the other hand, there are factors in which people can purchase, such as the feature where people can purchase more 'super likes' which where people are more likely to have a match.
